Thank you for helping us reach 568 gifts!

THANK YOU to everyone who helped us surpass our goal of 415 gifts. This number increases our participation rate, which helps raise Furman's national reputation and strengthens the value of a Furman degree. Through your generosity, we raised $148,394 toward ensuring that every student receives the benefit of The Furman Advantage.

Thank you to everyone who participated in #GivingTuesday. Winners are now listed below.

Early-bird incentive (all times are EST):

  • Donations before 5:00am will be entered to win one of five sets of Furman swag you’ll be able to wear proudly.

Giving Tuesday incentives:

  • 5:00am – 8:00am Just for the early risers, perk up your morning routine with a Furman coffee mug and coaster.

  • 8:00am – 9:00am Two donors will get breakfast inspiration with In the Kitchen at White Oaks, the new cookbook written by Furman’s First Gentleman, Charles E. Davis.

  • 9:00am – 10:00am Have the Furman elves deliver coffee to your favorite professor. Specify who you would like to honor in the comments section of the donation page – two donors will be chosen this hour! (We'll check with the professor to make sure they get the drink they like!)

  • 10:00am – 11:30am Five donors will be able to remember the historic 2017 Eclipse with a professional commemorative time-lapse poster featuring the Furman lake and belltower.

  • 11:30am – 1:00pm You know you've been waiting for this! You have an entire hour and a half to win one of two Furman purple YETI ramblers!

  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm Once again, Evelyn Henson will offer her whimsical Greenville map print and coffee mug. This is a combo gift, so keep both or share!

  • 2:00pm – 3:00pm Someone who donates this hour will be able to travel in style with a Furman collapsible tote.

  • 3:00pm – 5:00pm Already thinking about dinner? Win one of two more copies of In the Kitchen at White Oaks and learn a new recipe thanks to Furman’s First Gentleman, Charles E. Davis.

  • 5:00pm – 6:00pm Commemorate your Homecoming experiences with one of two collector sets of our 11x14 2016 and 2017 Homecoming posters. The 2016 poster is the first in the design series and features the Furman Bell Tower, while the 2017 design features the front gates.

  • 6:00pm – 7:00pm It's getting colder, so two donors can each bundle up with a new Furman hoodie and pair of Diamond F socks. These also make great stocking stuffers for your favorite Paladin!

  • 10:00pm – midnight As a final incentive, we are giving two lucky donors a Furman Christmas ornament for making a donation before midnight tonight. This collectible ornament features the Diamond F and is the third in our commemorative series.
