American Enterprise Institute (AEI) scholar Gerard Robinson will speak about criminal justice reform Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m. in Watkins Room of the Trone Student Center on campus. His talk, “Second Chances: A Conversation on Criminal Justice Reform,” is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the AEI Executive Council at Furman. The event is part of Furman’s Cultural Life Program. In an interactive lecture setting, Robinson will present his research on criminal justice reform measures, especially the importance of prison education programs in reducing recidivism.
