Furman students named Goldwater Scholars

GSA BizWire featured Goldwater Scholars Tom Whittemore ’23 and Conor Bready ’24, in its online publication. Whittemore, a chemistry major from Easley, South Carolina, is mentored by Paul Wagenknecht ’86, professor of chemistry. Bready, a chemistry and applied math major from Highland, New York, is mentored by George Shields, professor of chemistry. The news was also covered in UpstateBizSC.
