When mural painter, funeral home staffer, and bartender Matteo Miles was asked to create art out of a couple of blank walls outside D’Allesandro’s Pizza, he needed reinforcements. Enter a crew of Furman University art students who, during a three-week May Experience class, helped Miles complete the work. The mural, Miles, and the student artists, led by Ross McClain, associate professor art, and Marta Lanier, associate director of the Master of Arts in Strategic Design, were featured in Greenville Journal. Furman photographer Jeremy Fleming captured the finished product.
