Scenes from the Homecoming Court and halftime awards presentations.
The marching band took the field at halftime of the 2021 homecoming football game against East Tennessee State University.

Although it ended with East Tennessee State University Buccaneers outscoring the Furman Paladins 17-30, the hundreds of students, alumni and community members who visited campus for Homecoming Oct. 22-24 would have to call the weekend an overall victory. The mid-fall weather was an ideal background for the traditional events on the Mall, from float pomping to the pregame pep rally and tailgating. Halftime performances by the marching band, cheerleaders and dance team, and the presentation of Homecoming royalty, added to this year’s pleasant memories — no matter what the scoreboard said.
