Ahead of Furman Men’s Basketball season opener against USC Upstate set for Nov. 28, The Greenville News reported that the Paladins have been picked to finish second in the Southern Conference according to a poll of the league’s coaches. The media, however, have picked the Paladins to finish first in the SoCon – for the second time in four years. During the SoCon’s first-ever virtual media day, Furman Coach Bob Richey said, “That’s the beauty of building a program. This has been a seven-year task in getting the culture and development to where we want it to be.”
