Thrillist presents a list of five of  its most recommended spots for a long weekend this fall in the Southeast. Described as the “perfect mix of culture and country,” Greenville and the surrounding area boast an abundance of state parks, award-winning restaurants and watering holes, the Greenville Drive, Fall for Greenville and Furman University, among other attractions. On the list of to-dos is a visit to Furman’s campus, lauded for its “idyllic” rose garden and storied bell tower.
