Furman basketball to play ‘Weekends at the Well’ this season

Furman University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will play several games in downtown Greenville this season during three “Weekends at the Well” at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Furman President Elizabeth Davis and Paladin Athletics Director Jason Donnelly announced today.

Weekends at the Well:

  • Dec. 14, Furman men vs. Winthrop at 6 p.m.
  • Jan. 11, Furman women vs. Samford, 4:30 p.m.; Furman men vs. UNC Greensboro, 7 p.m.
  • Feb. 22, Furman men vs. Wofford at noon.

“This is an exciting time for Furman and Greenville, and our hometown team, the Paladins,” Davis said. “Playing at the Well is a great opportunity for our student-athletes and fans, not only as a showcase for the athletic talent that will be on display but also as an opportunity to show off Furman’s home away from home.”
