Former Furman football player opens Old Europe Pastries

In 1988, he helped lead the Paladin Football team to sweet victory in Furman’s only NCAA Division I-AA Championship. Now, economics graduate Bobby Daugherty ’90 is making strides on an entirely different turf–the world of pastries and coffee. He recently opened Old Europe Pastries on South Main Street in Greenville and has received a flurry of media attention in Upstate Business Journal, The Greenville News and 106.3WORD.
