Reporting from Paris

The Notre Dame cathedral in Paris caught fire on Monday and was badly damaged. Eleanor Beardsley, a 1986 Furman graduate and National Public Radio correspondent based in Paris, reported on the situation for NPR. Beardsley will be the principal speaker at the university’s 193rd commencement on Saturday, May 11.
