On to Augusta National

Furman golfers Haylee Harford and Natalie Srinivasan are headed to the Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday to play in the final round of Augusta National Women’s Amateur, which will be televised live on NBC Sports from noon until 3 p.m.

The international field of 72 women amateurs played the tournament’s first two rounds at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta with the top 30 players advancing to Saturday’s final round at Augusta National.

Harford (+1), a senior from Leavittsburg, Ohio, is in a tie for 11th after two rounds, while Srinivasan (+2), a junior from Spartanburg, is tied for 19th. Furman alum Alice Chen ’18 also played in the tournament but failed to qualify for the final day after shooting rounds of 78 and 75 (+9).

Srinivasan will tee off of No. 1 at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, while Harford will begin on No. 1 at 9:30 a.m.
