Oryza Astari, a 2016 Furman graduate, recently contributed a video for network Voice of America Indonesia. A politics and international affairs and philosophy double-major, Astari is interning for U.S. Rep. Norma Torres of California. Astari, who is also working toward her master’s at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., describes her role working for the congresswoman.
