Upstate women golfers at Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Three of the four Upstate women competing in the first-ever Augusta National Women's Amateur championship are from Furman.

Furman University will be well represented at the first-ever Augusta National Women’s Amateur championship set for April 3-6 at the home of the iconic Masters Tournament. Of the four Upstate women qualifying for the tournament, three are from Furman–Alice Chen ’18, Haylee Harford ’19 and Natalie Srinivasan ’20. All three spoke with Fox Carolina about the event, which will also host a player from Clemson. Said Furman’s Harford, “For three of us to be going [to the tournament], I think that says a lot about our program…”
