Donald Trump, European leaders and a forced Christmas dinner
‘President Donald Trump has received mostly warm reviews for his recent trips to Riyadh, Israel and The Vatican. But his face-to-meetings late this week with NATO and European leaders could be his toughest test, according to an online article by The Hill that quotes Furman Political Science Professor Brent Nelsen. “I would say that everyone is trying to get along as well as possible. But it is probably a bit like a forced Christmas dinner, with some parts of your family that you’re not entirely thrilled about being with,” said Nelsen who specializes in European politics.
