The Furman men’s rugby team will face three-time defending national champion Minnesota-Duluth 11 a.m., Saturday at Roberts Field in USA Rugby’s Div. II national semifinal game. The winner will advance to the national championship game to be held 1 p.m., Sunday in Stone Soccer Stadium. The Paladins, 13-0, are champions of the Southern Rugby Conference. Duluth won the national title 2013-15 and represent the Northern Lights Conference.
The Div. II men’s final four is part of a larger USA Rugby Fall Championship Weekend. In all, 12 teams will participate in the two-day tournament. Games will be held on John Roberts Field and in Stone Soccer Stadium.
All contests, with the exception of the consolation games on Sunday, will be broadcast live on the The Rugby Channel.
