South Carolina Congressmen Sen. Tim Scott and Rep. Trey Gowdy, along with their Democratic challengers Thomas Dixon and Chris Fedalei, were on the Furman campus Monday night for a discussion that was designed to feature both civility and substance. And, for the better part of the evening, the Congressional candidates did just that. The Greenville News was there to report on the event sponsored by Furman’s Department of Political Science.
