The beauty of the Furman lake is apparent from any angle.

Furman’s beautiful campus has been well documented, and now the Travel Channel has listed the university as one of its 10 favorite “resort-like campuses” in America. The Travel Channel blog, “Roam,” noted that campus “grounds are lush, leafy and green, with Asian-themed fountains, a replica of Thoreau’s cabin, a bell tower, a spring-fed lake and Georgian-inspired buildings.”
