After studying studio art at Furman, Meredith Moran German ’99 moved to New York City and began working as a fashion designer. She and her husband, Wendell, eventually started their own company, Meredith Wendell, whose products are sold in stores and boutiques worldwide and featured regularly in domestic and international publications. The Furman graduate, who also recently helped launch actress Reese Witherspoon’s brand, Draper James, was featured in her hometown newspaper, the Charleston Gazette-Mail in West Virginia.
