The Guide for Un-Tourists

Alum Marian White celebrates the launch of her new book.

Furman alum Marian White ’09 and her husband moved to Delray Beach, Florida in 2015.  A short time later, she wrote a guide book for those who want to learn more about the area.  The book, Moving to Palm Beach County: The Un-Tourist Guide, is a 150-page relocation guide for newcomers and businesses who are thinking about moving to the Palm Beach area.  The new book by White, who graduated from Furman in 2009 with a B.A. degree in Political Science and Asian Studies, was featured in West Palm Beach Magazine.
