When classical and flamenco guitarist Silviu Ciulei is not teaching in Furman’s music department, he is performing all over the country.  He was recently featured on “Live in Studio C” on Nashville Public Radio, where he performed four different pieces, including Debussy’s “The Girl with the Flaxen Hair.” Silviu has won an impressive collection of prizes, including First Prize at the Indiana International Guitar Competition, East Carolina University Guitar Festival and Appalachian Guitar Festival.
