Furman, Greenville to host Duathlon National Championships in 2018-19

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.—USA Triathlon has announced that the city of Greenville, along with Furman University, will serve as hosts for the 2018-19 USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships.

Athletes will compete for age-group national titles in standard- and sprint-distance races, as well as spots on Team USA, the select group of amateur multisport athletes who represent the U.S. at International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championship events. Specific race distances and course information will be shared on usatriathlon.org when available.

The biking and running events for the USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships will be headquartered on the Furman campus.

Duathlon Nationals was recently in Saint Paul, Minnesota, for two years, and will head west to Bend, Oregon for the next two years. The 2016 Duathlon National Championships will be held on June 25, and the 2017 date is June 24.
