The Berlin Wall revisited
2012 Furman University political science and German major Brandon Tensley attempts to uncover the root causes of xenophobia among people from former East Germany. In a piece he wrote for the Washington Post, Tensley teases out whether or not xenophobia may be attributed to Germany’s communist past. Tensley is a 2015-2016 Luce Scholar in Thailand. He was a 2012-2013 Fulbright Scholar in Germany and is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
