Furman graduate Maggie Stapleton, assistant program director at KING-FM radio in Seattle, is in charge of promoting Second Inversion, a streaming channel designed to rethink classical music and make it more accessible to a younger audience. Stapleton, who graduated from Furman in 2008 with a degree in music performance, came to KING four years ago. A flutist, she also performs with the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra and the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra in addition to teaching flute.  The Seattle Times reported on Stapleton efforts at KING-FM.
