Emily Bridges, a 2012 Furman graduate, has been elected editor in chief of the South Carolina Law Review, the oldest and most prestigious legal publication in the state. Bridges, a second-year law student at the University of South Carolina’s School of Law, has excelled in the classroom, earning the J. Waties Waring Scholarship and the Richard J. Foster Award.  She also won the Kate Bockman Memorial Moot Court Competition during her first year in law school and was named to the Order of the Barrister.
