Jazz Ensemble and Combos in concert March 28

The Furman University music department will present a Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos concert Friday, March 28 at 8 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall on the Furman campus.

The concert is open to the public. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Furman Music Professor Matt Olson, D.M.A., conducts the Jazz Ensemble and four Jazz Combos. Student musicians are coached by Furman music faculty members Steve Watson (jazz guitarist) and Keith Davis (jazz pianist). The concert features music by Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Maria Schneider, and the Brecker Brothers.
