Furman alumna Sydney Cooke ’08 and business partner Tim Pecoraro have built their marketing and consulting business, theideagroup, on a common goal—think great and do great. Their strategic methodology is simple: “organize, refine, design, and distribute.”

The Upstate Business Journal recently featured the Greenville agency that is garnering recognition for its work serving a range of clients from small start-ups to international businesses.

A studio art major, Cooke is originally from Weddington, North Carolina. Her business, theideagroup, received the 2013 Minority Business of the Year award from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
