Furman alumna Sydney Cooke ’08 and business partner Tim Pecoraro have built their marketing and consulting business, theideagroup, on a common goal—think great and do great. Their strategic methodology is simple, “organize, refine, design, and distribute.”

The Upstate Business Journal recently featured the Greenville agency that is garnering recognition for their work and serving a range of clients from small start-ups to international businesses.

A studio art major, Cooke originally from Weddington, North Carolina. Her business, theideagroup, received the 2013 Minority Business of the Year award from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
