Furman Rugby will travel to Columbia Saturday for a noon kick-off against the University of South Carolina. The contest will be played at Strom Thurmond Field, located at 1000 Blossom Street.

The Paladins will not play the USC top side at the Gamecocks host the University of Kentucky in a 1 p.m. conference game.

The Furman team will be traveling without a handful of starters as the squad’s aim is to develop younger talent during the Division II non-matrix spring season.

Furman is coming off a 29-20 victory over Division I North Carolina. A side composed primarily of Furman undergraduates defeated the Greenville Griffins B-side last Saturday 50-25.
