Furman resumes normal operating schedule Thursday, Jan. 30

Furman University will resume its normal operating schedule on Thursday, Jan. 30. Faculty, staff and students are advised to drive carefully Thursday morning since there still may still be icy spots on the roads.

As for Wednesday, Jan. 29, all evening classes are cancelled.

The decision to continue with campus events scheduled for Wednesday night will be left to the discretion of the sponsoring organization.

The 4:30 p.m. Tocqueville lecture with Yuval Levin is cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Trone Student Center and the Physical Activities Center will operate under normal hours. The James B. Duke Library is closed.

The Dining Hall will be open from 11 am-2 pm and 5-8 pm.  All retail locations will be closed.

Any additional changes to the university schedule will be updated on the website.
