A look at Angela Halfacre’s new book
In her new book, A Delicate Balance: Constructing a Conservation Culture in the South Carolina Lowcountry, Furman’s Angela Halfacre documents the rise of a conservation culture among individuals, families, communities, planners, politicians, and even developers. The Island Packet in Hilton Head published an article about the new book by Halfacre, a political science professor and director of the university’s Shi Center for Sustainability.
