Furman has been named one of the top 200 Best Values in Private Colleges by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. The report, released Oct. 25, ranked the schools based on outstanding academics and great economic value.

Furman was ranked No. 52 among the top 100 colleges in the liberal arts category.

According to the publication, Furman earned its spot in the rankings “because of a high four-year graduation rate, low average student debt at graduation, good student-to-faculty ratio, excellent on-campus resources and overall great value.”

The annual Kiplinger top-100 rankings appear in Kiplinger’s December issue—on newsstands November 8.
