Furman Golf Club hosts charity pro-Am
The Furman Golf Club is serving as one of three hosts for the popular BMW Charity Pro-Am, May 18-21. This national tournament pairs amateurs and celebrities with Web.com Tour professionals in a four-day better-ball competition. Some proceeds from the event will benefit The Furman Advantage.

Round one of the BMW Charity Pro-Am gets underway on Thursday at three Upstate golf courses. The action takes place at the Thornblade Club, the Furman University Golf Club and The Preserve at Verdae.
Alfonso Ribeiro had plenty to dance about at Greer’s Thornblade Club Tuesday afternoon. Playing in a practice round in preparation for the BMW Charity Pro-Am later this week, Ribeiro carded a hole in one on No. 11.
