Is the sluggishness of the U.S. economy due to short-term issues like unemployment and the budget deficit? Or is the current level of economic growth something America had better get used to? Furman economics professor Jeff Yankow will discuss those viewpoints when he speaks at the High Noon lecture series Wednesday, Nov. 13. His talk, “U.S. Economic Prospects and Possibilities,” begins at noon in the Resource Room of the Upcountry History Museum-Furman in downtown Greenville.
