Guth weighs in on Falwell’s fall

Jerry Falwell Jr., president of Liberty University, has been a political confidant of President Trump, but recent allegations of impropriety are shaking his standing in politics and as a university leader.

“I think that given the kind of developing opposition and concern on the board and elsewhere at Liberty, you may see his leadership challenged within the organization in the next few months,” Jim Guth, the William Kenan Jr. Professor of Politics and International Affairs, told British news outlet The Guardian.
