Christeson ’07 and Turner, co-founders of Argent.

Argent is a collective on a mission to make clothing that equips women to push the envelope and take their seat at the table. Describing their philosophy, the founders say, “We’re into those who take charge, make noise, and drop-kick the glass ceiling. We’ve found that turning things on their heads is not only where we find the most inspiration, it’s also where we have the most fun. So, we want to build a community that wants to do the same—and we’re starting by making functional clothes with attitude.”

Founded in 2016, Argent has locations in San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C.

Argent co-founder and CEO Christeson holds an International Master, Business Administration from University of South Carolina Moore School of Business, and a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Furman. Previously, she worked for Cisco Systems, Johnson & Johnson and Daimler Financial Services.

Turner, co-founder and chief creative officer of Argent, is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion and Apparel Design. Turner also worked in design for J. Crew, Tory Burch and Tommy Hilfiger.
