On Aug. 21 the U.S. will experience a total solar eclipse from Oregon to South Carolina, which will mark the first time in 99 years that there has been a coast-to-coast eclipse. Thrilllist provided advice about “The Best Places in America to Watch the Total Solar Eclipse” and Greenville made the list. Furman was also mentioned as a good place to witness the event, saying the “university will open up Paladin Stadium and have a guided presentation by one of its senior physics profs.”
