Let College Students Register to Vote

An editorial in The Greenville News states that “Greenville County should set aside a rule dating to the early 1970s that makes it difficult for nonresident college students to vote here.” The editorial was written in response to a recent lawsuit filed by three Furman students which asks that college students in the area be allowed to register to vote in Greenville County.
